The portable self-contained unit was designed for use in the field when repairs have to be made on shafts or tight places. Minimum downtime is required. The unit is self contained with 1 heater and 1 thermo-switch. Size of the unit can vary depending upon the profile or number of cavities desired in the unit. Standard size is approximately 4″ long by 1 3/4″ wide x 1 1/2″ high. The rubber is loaded into a cold unit. The unit is plugged into a 110 volt outlet, cured for the appropriate time for the size, then unloaded. The unit is clamped using screw type knobs on the top of the unit.
